On April 22, 2018 there was a competition among sport veterans within the XIV BadmintonTournament for Academic Staff.
Eighteen athletes who competed in doubles, regardless of sex, took part in the competition. The winners were the male doubles E.A. Ryzhov and N.S. Makarov, the second were a father and son V.N. Grigoriev and M.V. Grigoriev; the third place was taken by mixed doubles S.I. Ryadovoy and I.V Lanina.
On April 27, 2018 the final of the competition devoted to the Soviet People’s Victory in the Great Patriotic War will be held in OSMU. The participants will be lecturers of Omsk universities who have an academic degree. This is the main factor to take part in the competition.
