On May 15, 2019 within the annual Congress of Urologists of the Russian Society for Urologists the V Student Olympiad on Urology with International Participation was held in Tomsk. The Olympiad was attended by representatives from Russia as well as CIS. The first Olympiad of its kind took place in Omsk five years ago at the initiative of our University.
OSMU participants, representatives of the Student Research Society, headed by Prof. Anton TSUKANOV, became the champions among nine teams. Furthermore, our students were the best in surgery competition: this year the participants were charged with the task to perform a partial nephrectomy.
