OSMU and HMU – Joint Research Project and Beyond, March 2026

 

During the visit, in addition to touring the clinical facilities, working meetings were held with Professor Jiamin Li, during which a roadmap was developed for preparing a joint grant application to the Russian-Chinese Association of Medical Universities. For the current year, an application is planned for the international internship competition, aimed at mastering experimental models of myocardial infarction, transverse aortic constriction (TAC), and myocardial ischemia-reperfusion to intensify further scientific collaboration with HMU. In accordance with the approved roadmap, experimental research is scheduled for 2026 to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of drugs based on Acanthopanax senticosus (Siberian ginseng) extracts in the post-traumatic period of cardiac contusion, as well as the preparation of joint publications based on the results of these studies.
