On November 7-14, the cooperation program continued on the basis of Siberian State University of Physical Culture and Sport. This week was an important stage of practical interaction, during which the delegation was able to learn more about the methodology of modern rehabilitation approaches and see how the principles of traditional Chinese medicine are implemented in modern rehabilitation practices. On November 7, attention was paid to the complex use of rehabilitation tools for myofascial syndrome of the cervical and thoracic spine. On November 10, the program continued with a master class on the integration of manual techniques and therapeutic gymnastics for post-traumatic contractures of the knee and elbow joints. During this master class, the teachers demonstrated the clinical case of a patient with contracture of the right elbow joint. The analysis of this case allowed us to show in practice the high efficiency of a combined approach to patient treatment, combining modern technologies and traditional methods of Chinese traditional medicine.
On November 12, the delegation got acquainted with self-healing methods and ways to improve mental performance during prolonged static loads. Of particular interest were the techniques for reducing muscle fatigue demonstrated during the master class.
An important event of the week was a visit on November 11 to the «Inzdrav» Medical Center, where the guests got acquainted with the clinic's work and took part in an interview with Vesti-Omsk Irtysh TV and radio company, sharing their experience about cooperation and scientific and practical exchange. The guests showed particular interest in the principles of equipment operation and techniques used in postoperative and post-traumatic rehabilitation programs. Within the framework of the visit, participants of the meeting discussed possibilities of synergy between traditional Chinese practices like acupuncture, herbal medicine, massage and modern Western rehabilitation technologies. Doctors of traditional Chinese medicine shared their experience of using Oriental techniques in the recovery of patients with diseases of the musculoskeletal system and neurological disorders.
As part of the cultural program of the week, guests received unforgettable impressions from visiting the ethno-folk performance «Bereginya». This unique performance allowed audience to plunge into the world of ancient Slavic customs and traditions. The scenery of the performance was made so skillfully that it created a complete sense of immersion in the era of Ancient Russia. Each element of the stage design fully fit into the overall picture, creating a special atmosphere of antiquity and mystery. Our colleagues paid special attention to the actors who put their soul and deep meaning into each of their roles. The performance left an indelible impression, becoming a vivid example of preserving and popularizing the cultural heritage of our country.
Saturday afternoon of the delegation was held in a cozy atmosphere of Poltavka cordiality. The excursion program allowed to get acquainted not only with the historical sights of the working village of Poltavka, but also to master the art of making traditional dumplings with a variety of fillings. Master classes revealed to the guests the subtleties of dumpling modeling techniques, and also gave them the opportunity to enjoy fresh dumplings and national cuisine dishes, such as sauerkraut, lard, draniki and much more. The rich program ended with a folklore event organized by the Center for National Cultures, which immersed the guests in the atmosphere of folk traditions, round dances and fun activities.
