From November 20 to 22, the 18th National Congress of General Practitioners is taking place in Moscow - the main annual event of the Russian Scientific Medical Society of General Practitioners. The program of the Congress covers the widest possible range of issues in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of internal diseases.
Today, one of the main sessions is dedicated to the achievements of regional schools of the Siberian Federal District - its co-chair is Professor Maria A. LIVZAN, MD, PhD, OSMU Rector, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. She spoke about the history of university science, using OSMU school of general practitioners as an example.
During the session, our colleagues made a report on the topic “Fundamental basis of the formation and progression of liver fibrosis in NAFLD.” The congress is attended by the teaching staff of our university, including general practitioners, gastroenterologists, pulmonologists, cardiologists, hepatologists, endocrinologists, nephrologists and rheumatologists, as well as functional and laboratory diagnostic doctors, infectious disease specialists and clinical pharmacologists.
