I congratulate you on the 25th Anniversary of Clinical Pharmacology in the Russian healthcare system!
Modern medicine gave the world many discoveries and new technologies that protect humankind from viruses and epidemics. However, the number of diseases is not decreasing, and healthcare specialists continue their fight. Scientists use state-of-the-art approaches to develop new drug formulas which makes it possible to influence all systems of the human body. Innovative fields, including biopharmacology and pharmacoepidemiology, also rapidly develop.
Competent drug prescription requires an individualized approach and comprehensive knowledge. To meet the required level of professionalism, clinical pharmacologists continually improve their expertise in general medicine, public health, economics, genetics, and medical law. Clinical trials is a vital area of pharmacologists' work, and that is why all specialists must acquire understanding of ethical and legal issues.
The OSMU Department of Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacology continues to serve Regional healthcare by forming the outlook of future specialists.
