A delegation of representatives from Khatlon State Medical University (KSMU) arrived at our University on a working visit as part of the existing agreement on cooperation in healthcare, academic, scientific, and cultural collaboration between OSMU and KSMU (Republic of Tajikistan).
Bakhtiyor S. PIROV, MD, PhD (in Medicine), Head of the KSMU Department of Surgical Disciplines, and and Dermatovenereology, MD, Isoduht B. USMON, MD, PhD (in Medicine), Head of the KSMU Department of Infectious Diseases, will deliver a series of lectures covering current issues in transplantology, portal hypertension, prenatal screening, fetal diagnostic methods, labor management after kidney transplantation, and other topics.
Today, at a meeting with Prof. Maria A. LIVZAN, MD, Dr. Sci. (in Medicine), OSMU Rector, Corresponding Member of the RAS, Prof. Olga V. KORPACHEVA, MD, Dr. Sci. (in Medicine), Vice-Rector for Research, Assoc. Prof. Andrey S. KOLCHIN, MD, PhD (in Medicine), Vice-Rector for Postgraduate Education, discussed interuniversity cooperation with representatives of KSMU regarding the training of highly qualified personnel, holding joint conferences, and identifying priority areas for further collaboration.
In the 2024-2025 academic year, as part of this cooperation agreement, lectures were given at KSMU by Prof. Elena B. PAVLINOVA, MD, Dr. Sci. (in Medicine), Head of the Department of Pediatrics (Advanced Level); Professor Irina N. PUTALOVA, MD, Dr. Sci. (in Medicine), Head of the OSMU Department of Human Anatomy; and Prof. Vadim A. AKHMEDOV, MD, Dr Sci (in Medicine), Head of the Department of Medical Rehabilitation, including Postgraduate Training Courses, Assoc. Prof. Irina V. SAVALYEVA, MD, Dr. Sci. (in Medicine), Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1, and , PhD Anna A. USOVA, MD, PhD in Medicine), Assoc. Prof. of the Department of Psychiatry and Medical Psychology.
