On July 6, a series of graduation events began at OSMU. This year, 47 students of the Faculty for Preventive Medicine, 96 students of the Faculty of Dentistry, 23 students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, students of the Pediatrics and General Medicine Faculties, as well as 15 undergraduates of the Master's degree in Public Health graduated from the University.
The first diplomas were awarded to students of the Preventive Medicine Faculty at a solemn ceremony in the Building of the Faculty for Preventive Medicine of OSMU. Congratulatory words were heard from Prof. Maria A. LIVZAN, MD, PhD, Corresponding Member of the RAS, OSMU Rector, Andrey S. KOLCHIN, Vice-Rector for Postgraduate Education, Prof. Vladimir L. STASENKO, MD, PhD, Dean of the Preventive Medicine Faculty and other members of the attestation commission.
Then, in the Concert Hall, diplomas were awarded to graduates of Dentistry Faculty. The Rector wished the graduates successful professional activity, pleasure from communicating with colleagues and family well-being. Prof. Larisa M. LOMIASHVILI, DMD, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Galina I. SKRIPKINA, MD, PhD, Head of the Pediatric Dentistry Department and deputy deans also congratulated the graduates.
The series of graduation events continued with the awarding of diplomas to graduates of the Pediatrics Faculty in the Concert Hall. Prof. Maria A. LIVZAN, MD, PhD, Corresponding Member of the RAS, OSMU Rector, Ivan A. ONUFRIEV, Vice-rector for Educational Work and Youth Policy, Natalia A. POLYANSKAYA, MD, PhD, Dean of the Pediatrics Faculty, Elina N. ASTAFIEVA, Head of the Department for Youth Policy and Social Development, and faculty teachers congratulated the graduates on their successful graduation. Special words of gratitude were addressed to the teachers and parents of the graduates.
On July 9, a solemn meeting of the Council of the General Medicine Faculty was held in the Concert Hall. The graduates were congratulated by the rector of the University, Andrey S. KOLCHIN, Vice-Rector for Postgraduate Education, Ivan A. ONUFRIEV, Vice-rector for Educational Work and Youth Policy, Olga V. GAUS, MD, PhD, Head of the Department for the Development of Regional Health and Medical Activities, Elina N. ASTAFIEVA, Head of the Department for Youth Policy and Social Development, and heads of departments. Special parting words were spoken by Natalia A. IVANOVA, Deputy Minister of Health of the Omsk Region, and Oleg A. POPOV, Chairman of the SAC, who familiarized the audience with the results of the state certification.
On July 11, a solemn meeting of the Council of the Pharmacy Faculty was held, dedicated to the graduation of pharmacists in the specialty Pharmacy in 2024. Vice-rectors Elena B. PAVLINOVA and Ivan A. ONUFRIEV took part in the graduation ceremony. Assoc. Prof. Elena A. LUKSHA, PhD (in Pharmacy), Dean of the Pharmacy Faculty, teachers and representatives of the pharmacy workers congratulated the graduates, wishing them further success in their professional activities and pride in being a graduate of OSMU.
The presentation of diplomas to graduates of the Master's degree in Public Health was also held in OSMU Building of the Faculty for Preventive Medicine. Andrey S. KOLCHIN, Vice-Rector for Postgraduate Education, Prof. Vladimir L. STASENKO, MD, PhD, Dean of the Preventive Medicine Faculty and members of the attestation commission congratulated the graduates, wishing them to continue studying and improvement.
