On May 26, 2023, Central Research Institute of Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery hosted the XIV Scientific Conference for Young Scientists «Advances in Modern Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery», dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the birth of Prof. A.I. EVDOKIMOV. The event gathered together leading specialists in dentistry from Moscow, Omsk, Novokuznetsk, and Perm.
In his welcoming speech, Prof. Fedor F. LOSEV, MDM, PhD, Director of Central Research Institute of Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, noted the importance of such events, listed the leading scientific school in dentistry, and wished participants fruitful work!
Prof. Vladimir D. VAGNER, MDM, PhD, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Head of the Department of Management and Licensing (Central Research Institute of Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery), presented his report entitled «Life and work of Academician A.I. Evdokimov».
Andrey S. KORSHUNOV, MDM, PhD, Prof. Assoc. of OSMU Department of Dentistry (Postgraduate Course), Head of the Department of Research in Citizens Health Protection, has deserved the 3rd place Diploma for his report «Eruption pattern of lower third molars in connective tissue dysplasia» (scientific advisors: Prof. Vladimir D. VAGNER, and Prof. Vladimir P. KONEV, MD, PhD, Honored Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation).
The solemn awarding ceremony was conducted by Prof. Elena K. KRECHINA, MDM, PhD, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Deputy Director of Central Research Institute of Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery. All finalists deserved a publication in a «Dentistry» journal included in the Scopus database.
