The winners and participants of the final stage of the interregional Olympiad "Chemistry and Biology: the first step at OSMU" were awarded in the conference hall of the OSMU main building.
Before the start of the awarding ceremony, the specialists of the Pre-University Training Center recalled that the main purpose of the Olympiad was to identify the most prepared, gifted, professionally oriented students who are capable of mastering higher medical professional education programs. While completing the tasks, the students demonstrated their creative skills and excellent knowledge of chemistry and biology.
The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad were congratulated by Prof. Elena B. PAVLINOVA, MD, PhD, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Irina P. STEPANOVA, PhD in Biology, Head of the Chemistry Department, and Assoc. Prof. Larisa V. CHERNAYA, PhD in Biology, Head of the Biology Department.
The winners of the Olympiad were Elizaveta PENKINA, Alyona CHECHETKA, Ivan GUTOROV and Olga KOMAROVA; second degree diplomas were awarded to Ekaterina KOZLOVA, Yulia KUTERGINA, Polina PORSCHE, Kirill BORISOV, Alexandra KOSTUNINA, Irina BEZHEIMER and Azamat TAKIROV; third degree diplomas were awarded to Ksenia ROVINSKAYA, Roman BAUER, Alexandra DENISOVA, Anna TUMILOVICH and Zakhar PANFILOV.
