The First International Olympiad for applicants to the master’s program “Preventive Medicine and Public Health” has ended at our university.
The goal of the Olympiad is to help talented applicants obtain the opportunity to study at OSMU in the master's program in Public Health.
The competition was held in 2 stages. The first stage included assessment of the portfolio of the applicants and testing with questions at elementary, intermediate and complex levels. The second stage consisted of solving the case tasks related to the organization of medical care, the quality of medical care and the safety of medical activities.
Thirteen people took part in the International Olympiad “Preventive Medicine and Public Health”; as a result, eight participants were admitted to the second stage of the competition.
When completing complex theoretical and practical case tasks of the Olympiad, participants demonstrated knowledge of the basics of public health, preventive measures and programs, and medical statistics.
The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad were Svetlana V. SASHCHENKO (1st place), Vera A. SHCHELKONOGOVA (2nd place), Olga G. SHEYERMAN (3rd place).
