The I National Scientific Olympiad on Dentistry took place on November 7-9. Future dentists from all over the country gathered together for the competition. OSMU was represented by 5th-year students specializing in 5 fields: orthopedics, preventive dentistry, surgical dentistry, pediatric dentistry and orthodontics, including Anna SKURIKHINA, Viktoria KAMINSKAYA, Artur VARDANYAN, Arkadiy ROZHNOV, Rodion ERMAKOV.
The Olympiad included practical tasks and a test of academic knowledge of varying levels of complexity. All stages of the Olympiad were held in a friendly atmosphere on different days in several University buildings, which helped the contestants and the jury to focus on a competition. In several contests, the execution speed was also taken into account which allowed the fastest student to win bonus points.
