From March 30 to April 1, 2023, OSMU students participated in the National Student Olympiad with international participation in dentistry entitled "PEARL of the Urals", which was held in the Bashkir State Medical University (Ufa).
12 teams from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Belarus competed. OSMU students won 7 diplomas and won 4 nominations:
- First place in preventive dentistry - Victoria KAMINSKAYA;
- First place in pediatric dentistry - Anna MALTSEVA;
- Second place in orthopedic dentistry - Maxim SHENKHENT;
- Second place in maxillofacial surgery - Christina MAYER;
- Third place in the research report - Anna MALTSEVA.
Besides, our students took second place in the team competition.
We thank the host of the Olympiad, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry of the Bashkir State Medical University, Prof. Milyausha F. KABIROVA, for the warm welcome and the high appreciation of professional knowledge and skills.
