From October 26 to 31, 2020 the National Student Competition on powerlifting and bench press were held in Tambov. The Omsk team was represented by OSMU students Dmitry Zhdanov, Nikita Serov, and Ivan Bulychev.
In a classical triathlon, the OSMU team won the 2nd prize and became silver prize winners in the overall standing. On the first day, Nikita Serov and Ivan Bulychev won two silver medals in a bench press, and Dmitry Zhdanov won the 1st prize. Dmitry also became an absolute winner of the competition and set a new national record!
On the second day of the bench press competition, Dmitry Zhdanov and Ivan Bulychev won two gold medals, and Nikita Serov won the 2nd prize. OSMU confidently won in the overall standing!
