On 27 December, in the building of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk region, a solemn ceremony of giving awards and honorary titles to residents of the Omsk region was held by Vitaly P. KHOTSENKO, the Head of the Omsk region. By Decree of the President of the Russian Federation "On awarding awards of the Russian Federation" for merits in scientific and pedagogical activities, training of highly qualified specialists and many years of conscientious work, the honorary title "Honored Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation" was awarded to Prof. Sergey V. BARINOV, MD, PhD, Head of the OSMU Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology №2, and Prof. Galina I. NECHAEVA, MD, PhD, Professor of the OSMU Department of Internal and Family Medicine, including Postgraduate Training Courses.
