On May 19-20, the III National Olympiad «Virtuoso of Pediatrics» with International Participation took place at Sechenov University. 31 teams of 4th-6th year medical students from Russia and neighbouring countries participated in the event.
OSMU was represented by the «Juventus» team, including 6th-year students Eugenia S. PILTYAEVA, Tatiana S. GAPAROVA, Elena G. CHECHA, and 5th-year students Polina A. SHTOL, Inna A. ATANOVA.
««Virtuoso of Pediatrics» is an opportunity for us to demonstrate our abilities, share experiences, and expand professional horizons. By competing and learning from our mistakes, we are inspired to develop further» - shared her experience Tatiana S. GAPAROVA.
«I would like to especially mention the medical quest, which had about 10 stations with tasks from different areas of medicine, such as endocrinology, rheumatology, history of medicine, radiology, and pharmacology. We had the most fun at the «Charades» station, in which, as in the famous game, you have to act out the various diseases» - said Polina A. SHTOL.
The «Juventus» team received a Diploma for winning in the «Best Endocrinologists» category.
We express our deepest gratitude to the teaching staff who trained the team for the Olympiad, especially Irina A.
