On March 21, Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University hosted the XIX International (XXVIII National) Pirogov Scientific Medical Conference, where Sofia VLASOVA, 2nd year student of OSMU Faculty of Preventive Medicine, presented her research “Epidemiological manifestations of pertussis infection in the Omsk region at the present stage” at the “Preventive Medicine” section (supervisor: Elena A. VILMS, MD, PhD, Assoc. Prof. of the Epidemiology Department; scientific advisor: Svetlana Z. TUMORINA, MD, PhD, Assoc. Prof. of the Epidemiology Department).
Based on the research materials, a poster report was also prepared for the 58th Annual National Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Current Problems of Theoretical, Experimental, Clinical Medicine and Pharmacy”, held on March 28-30 in Tyumen as part of the Russian Forum with international participation “Youth Science Week 2024”. In a competition of works by young scientists and students, the report received high scores from the jury and was awarded a 1st degree diploma!
