On December 16–17, the XXV International Congress "Health and Education in the XXI Century", organized by the Community of Young Doctors and Healthcare Organizers, was held in Moscow.
The Congress is widely known as a scientific and organizational event aimed at teaching within the framework of the implementation of the model of working out the basic principles of continuing medical education, information exchange, and coordination of scientific research in the fields of biology, medicine, modern pedagogy, and sociology.
This year, OSMU was represented by a delegation of students, clinical residents and representatives of the teaching staff who took part in the scientific session, competitions, and cultural program of the Congress. On December 16, at the grand opening, Andrey S. KORSHUNOV, DMD, PhD, Assoc. Prof. of the Dentistry Department, including Postgraduate Training Courses, and Kirill N. KURYATNIKOV, DMD, Prof. Asst. of the same Department, were awarded Cups and Certificates of Honor for their long-term and selfless work in training highly qualified specialists, for assistance in Community development, and for strengthening international friendship and cooperation in the field of medicine and healthcare.
According to the results of the work of the section "Dentistry", co-chaired by Andrey S. KORSHUNOV, a Diploma of the First Degree, a Cup, and a Medal among students were awarded to Ali R. ALIYEV, a student of the Dentistry Faculty. Konstantin A. MAKSIMENKO, a resident of the Dentistry Department, including Postgraduate Training Courses, and Vladislav A. KRASNOV, MD, dentist-surgeon of the Omsk City clinical dental clinic No. 1, were awarded Diplomas of the Third Degree among young scientists, Cups and Medals. In the poster session, Ali R. ALIYEV was awarded a Diploma of the First Degree and a Medal, and later, he took part in the International competition "Mr. & Miss Medline 2023". In this competition, he demonstrated a high level of erudition, performed a folk dance, lovingly told about the history of his native university and the Faculty of Dentistry, performed judo techniques with his supervisor Andrey S. KORSHUNOV and was awarded the main prize and the title "Mr. Medline 2023".
The head of the delegation, Andrey S. KORSHUNOV, was awarded the main gift of the Congress for the high level of training of the team and the successful performance of all Omsk participants.
