On March 2-4, the 49th Scientific Conference of the Central Research Institute of Gastroenterology “Gastroenterology: Present and Future” took place at the Loginov Moscow Clinical Scientific Center. During the Conference, specialists discussed issues of organizing and providing medical care to patients with gastroenterological diseases. Leading specialists of the country - clinicians, geneticists, pathologists, and surgeons exchanged their views on a wide range of interdisciplinary problems, shared their experiences and discussed approaches to early diagnosis and treatment of patients with gastroenterological pathology.
At the scientific session, 3 representatives of the Omsk State Medical University spoke as experts with reports on the topical issues of modern gastroenterology: Prof. Maria A. LIVZAN, MD, PhD, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Head of the Department of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, Sergey I. MOZGOVOY, MD, PhD, Prof. Assoc. of the Department of Morbid Anatomy, and Olga V. GAUS, MD, PhD, Prof. Assoc. of the Department of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
In addition, the scientific report of Olga V. GAUS entitled “Phenotypes of irritable bowel syndrome: leading factors of genetics and epigenetics, mechanisms formation” was highly appreciated by experts and was included in the list of the best scientific researches of young Russian scientists of the Conference getting a II Degree Diploma and valuable gifts.
