On February 8, 2023, the meeting of Governor’s Science Coordination Council took place. It was attended by Sergey SHELEST, Mayor of Omsk, rectors of the leading Omsk universities, heads of industrial and scientific enterprises, Omsk scientists and researchers. Prof. Maria A. LIVZAN, MD, PhD, Chairperson of the Omsk Council of Rectors, Rector of OSMU, Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, presented the report on the training of scientific personnel in the Omsk Region.
The solemn meeting started with the awarding ceremony for representatives of the Omsk scientific community due to their professional holiday. Alexander BURKOV, Governor of the Omsk Region, and Sergey SHELEST, Mayor of Omsk, presented Certificate of Appreciation and Letters of Gratitude to scientists, developers, and engineers, who apply the results of scientific knowledge to solve industrial, social and practical problems. Maria N. PARYGINA, Prof. Asst.
of the Morbid Anatomy Department, Head of the Department for PhD and Doctoral Programs, was one of the honorees.
Maria N. PARYGINA successfully graduated the General Medicine Department of OSMU in 2016, Residency and PhD Program in Morbid Anatomy, and now is working as the Prof. Asst. at the Morbid Anatomy Department. Since 2022, she has been working as the Head of the Department for PhD and Doctoral Programs. In 2022, Maria PARYGINA defended a thesis entitled «Marker approach to verification of atrophy of the gastric mucosa in the biopsy diagnosis of chronic gastritis» and earned PhD. She is also the winner of scientific events: the Open Innovations Startup Tour Competition «Digital Region-2019», the National scientific event « Relay of University Science-2019», the owner of the grants "UMNIK-2019" and "START- 2022".
