Galina N. DOROVSKIKH, MD, PhD, Professor of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, including Postgraduate Training Courses, Honoured Doctor of Russian Federation, Head of the Radiodiagnostics Department of Omsk Emergency Hospital №1, earned an Award «For contribution to the development of roentgenology and radiology» which noted her outstanding achievements in teaching and educational activities.
The Diploma was awarded at the Congress of the Russian Society of Radiology in Saint Petersburg on November 8, which was timed to coincide with the International Day of Radiology.
For many years, the Congress has been the largest forum of radiologists in Russia which is attended by ultrasound specialists, radiologists, radiotherapists, medical physicists, and specialists of other areas of clinical medicine interested in the achievements of modern imaging methods. The Congress aims to create a unified educational and information environment for knowledge sharing and interdisciplinary dialogue in the field of medical imaging.
Galina N. DOROVSKIKH was a member of the program committee of the Conference and became the chairperson of several sections: «Radiodiagnostics of the postoperative changes of the spine» and «Radiodiagnostics of the complications of viral infections». The Congress included scientific sessions and seminars, during which new areas of scientific research, the use of advanced technologies in radiology and interventional radiology, ultrasound diagnostics, nuclear medicine, and radiotherapy were discussed.
