According to the results of the Russian competition "The Best Doctor of the Year", Galina N. DOROVSKIKH, MD, PhD, Prof. of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, including Postgraduate Training Courses, Department of OSMU, Head of the Department of Radiation Diagnostics of the Omsk Emergency Hospital №1, Honored Doctor of Russia, won in the nomination "The Best doctor in diagnostic research".
Galina N. DOROVSKIKH has a general medical experience of 45 years, is a freelance specialist in radiation and instrumental diagnostics of the Ministry of Health of the Omsk region. Over the years, she has made a significant contribution to the development of the radiological service of the region. Under her leadership and active participation, methods for the study of seriously ill patients on a magnetic resonance imaging machine were introduced. The use of the technique made it possible to provide round-the-clock examinations of patients on a ventilator, to carry out early diagnosis of focal brain lesions, acute traumatic brain injuries, and cerebral ischemia.
In 1998, Galina N. DOROVSKIKH received a certificate for an innovative proposal for the development and implementation of a remote artificial lung ventilation device on a CT scanner. She, together with colleagues, developed methodological recommendations for the use of radiation research methods in acute pancreatitis, for the examination of pelvic organs in endometriosis. These techniques have found wide practical application in healthcare institutions in Omsk.
Galina N. DOROVSKIKH is a member of the European Association of Radiologists, the Russian Association of Radiologists, the Association of Diagnostic Scientists of the Siberian Federal Society and the National Society of Radiologists of Russia. In 2021, she was President of the V Congress of the National Society of Radiologists of Russia, and in 2022 — President of the Russian Congress of Radiologists and Radiologists.
In 2023, Galina N. DOROVSKIKH took first place in the competition for the Award "For contribution to the development of radiology and radiology" for outstanding achievements in pedagogical and educational activities.
Galina N. DOROVSKIKH has repeatedly become the winner of the regional stage of the Russian competition "Doctor of the Year". According to the results of the Russian rating of radiology departments, the department she directs is one of the leaders in the country.
