On March 21, the results of the Native Towns Grant Competition by Gazprom Neft were summed up. Among the winners is the project entitled "School of Dental Health" by Irina M. VOLOSHINA, DDM, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Preventive Dentistry. The project team included volunteers of the Dentistry Faculty "Smile".
The project aims to create conditions for increasing the level of knowledge and motivation of parents to preserve and improve the health of children, to adapt the child to dental appointments, and increase tolerance for preventive examinations. During the implementation of the project, it is planned to conduct lessons about dental health for children with autistic disorder aged 5 to 11 years and their parents. The implementation of the project is planned by the project team, which includes Adelina A. ALMUKHAMETOVA, a general dentist, a first-year resident at the Department of Dentistry (Postgraduate Course).
