Congratulations on Winning the III National Students Olympiad “Science of Health”!

Tatyana YAKUBENKO, a 4th-year student of the OSMU Faculty of General Medicine, under the guidance of Natalia V. SEMENOVA, MD, PhD (in Medicine), Assoc. Prof.  of the Department of Extreme and Evidence Based Medicine, won the first place in the III National Students Olympiad “Science of Health”.
 
The event, organised by Omsk State Pedagogical University, was attended by 485 students from universities of Russia, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Zambia, the Republic of Nigeria, the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, and the Republic of Lebanon. The participants had to answer the test questions in a limited time. The second block of tasks included an essay on the possibilities of using telemedicine in various branches of modern healthcare, indications and contraindications for the use of these innovative technologies. The third assignment included analysis of advantages and disadvantages of using social robots as a symbiosis of artificial intelligence in the care of elderly people. The final task suggested an extended response on a video clip on the phenomenon of quadrobbing in children and young people. Apart from identifying the phenomenon itself, the participant had to propose recommendations for medical workers, teachers and parents.
 
We congratulate Tatyana Yakubenko on successfully passing all the stages of competition and winning the Olympiad! We wish her to conquer new heights in scientific research.
