Andrey S. KORSHUNOV, DMD, PhD, Assoc. Prof. of the OSMU Department of Dentistry, including Postgraduate Training Courses, became the winner of the National Competition «Best Young Teacher in the Field of Healthcare Staff Training – 2024» held by the First Moscow State Medical University, the Medical League of Russia, and the Department of Medical Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS). He took the third place in the «Research Competencies in Higher Education» category. The awards ceremony for the winners of the competition will take place in Moscow with the participation of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the Department of Medical Sciences of (RAS).
The Competition is held with the aim of creating conditions to support young full-time PhD students, teachers, associate professors and professors under the age of 39 years, implementing educational programs in the «Healthcare» specialties in educational organizations registered under the law of the Russian Federation and carrying out educational activities in medical and pharmaceutical specialties. Participants who take first, second, and third places are declared winners.
The first stage of the Competition was presenting an academic essay on the topic «The role of a higher education teacher in the progressive development of youth» and a questionnaire about their scientific and pedagogical achievements. On the second stage «Academic Breakthrough», the best participants had to present individual projects on research competencies in higher education.
