From August 4 to August 11, OSMU took part in the Russian National Youth Forum "Creative and Educational Days of the Students Scientific Society", which was held in Volgograd. The event brought together more than 100 medical students from 10 cities of our country: Volgograd, Pyatigorsk, Astrakhan, Krasnodar, Samara, Kazan, Saratov, Rostov-on-Don, Omsk, and Chita. During the week, the participants demonstrated their knowledge in scientific competitions and participated in educational and sports events, but the key part of the forum was the writing of research papers with the preparation of estimates and a calendar plan for their subsequent implementation. At the end of the forum, 11 projects were developed in relevant fundamental and clinical areas.
Stanislav MOSKAVCHUK, a 6th-year student of the Faculty of General Medicine of OSMU, successfully defended a team project on the topic: "Comparative analysis of primary antibiotic resistance of H. pylori strains in patients in the Omsk and Volgograd regions." The jury highly appreciated the research work and, according to the results of the competitive selection, the project took the honorable first place!
