A team of students from the Faculty of Dentistry, consisting of Ivan DOLOTIN, Daria KOURNIKOVA, Polina MALYSHKINA, Mikhail SMIRNOV and Denis KHIZHUK, won three prizes at the international Olympiad, which was held in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan.
Twelve strongest teams from leading medical universities of Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan took part in the multidisciplinary Olympiad. Our team has demonstrated a high level of theoretical training, clinical thinking and manual skills in an intense struggle, winning prizes in various dental specialties: Daria KOURNIKOVA – second place in pediatric dentistry, Mikhail SMIRNOV – third place in surgical dentistry and Ivan DOLOTIN – third place in orthodontics.
This success was made possible not only by the diligence and talent of our students, but also by the high-quality training provided by the Faculty of Dentistry. The victory in the international Olympiad confirms the high status of our university and its competitiveness in the educational environment.
