On November 1, 2023, the semi-final selection of the UMNIK-2023 Competition took place in the field “Medicine and Health Preservation Technologies”! The participants were evaluated by members of the jury according to the established criteria of the Competition from the Innovation Promotion Foundation.

The participants made a presentation of their projects and answered questions from members of the expert commission, observing the Competition regulations.
Based on the results of the contestants’ performances, the jury members recommended the following projects for participation in the final competitive selection:

SERGEEV , 2-year resident of Department of the Surgical Diseases and Urology, including Postgraduate Training Courses , with the project “Development of a software package for assessing the likelihood of varicose veins in connection with work function”, scientific supervisor - Prof. Anton Yu. TSUKANOV, MD, PhD, Head of Department of the Surgical Diseases and Urology, including Postgraduate Training Courses.
Natalya A. TSYUNIK, 2-year resident of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 with the project “Development of a computer program to identify the causes of miscarriage,” scientific supervisor – Assoc. Prof. Irina V. MEDYANNIKOVA, MD, PhD, professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1.
