On September 29, Andrey S. KOLCHIN, Vice-Rector for Postgraduate Education, took part in the V meeting of the Joint Commission on trade, economic, and investment cooperation between the Omsk Region and the Republic of Belarus.
The issues of development of cooperation in the field of agro-industrial complex, industry, education, culture, tourism and sports were discussed at the meeting. Currently, OSMU concluded the agreements with three universities of the Republic of Belarus: Belarusian State Medical University, Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, and Gomel State Medical University.
Within the framework of existing agreements, the following events have been implemented: the XXIX International Online Symposium «Innovative Technologies in Dentistry», the online student Olympiad in digital prosthetic dentistry, and the joint project of the educational and methodological complex «Modular Technologies in Aesthetic Dentistry». Staff of the Preventive Dentistry Department gave a course of e-lectures for students, residents, and professors of Belarusian State Medical University. Moreover, the agreements include issues of cooperation in the development of joint research projects, the exchange of modern methodological, scientific and practical information, the development and implementation of joint educational programs for advanced professional training.
