«Current Issues of Physical Culture and Sports»

The VII National Scientific Conference «Current Issues of Physical Culture and Sports» was held at the Bashkir State Medical University.
 
OSMU was represented by a team of students:
● Ksenia Yu. OGER, 1st-year student of the Faculty of Preventive Medicine, presented the report «The Gender Issue in the Olympic Games: The Role of Genetic Testing in Athletes» (Academic Supervisor: Assoc. Prof. Anna Yu. SHREDER, PhD (in Pedagogy), Head of the Department of Physical Culture).
  • Natalia A. SELEZNEVA, 1st-year student of the Faculty of Pediatrics, delivered the report «The Use of Pharmacology in Figure Skating» (Academic Supervisor: Assoc. Prof. Anna Yu. SHREDER, PhD (in Pedagogy)).
  • Alexandra I. BYSHINA, 3rd-year student of the Faculty of General Medicine, presented «Physical Culture and a Healthy Lifestyle as a Means of Preventing Cognitive Disorders» (Academic Supervisor: Assoc. Prof. Natalia S. KUZNETSOVA, PhD (in Pedagogy)).
  • Natalia P. IVANOVA, 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Pediatrics, presented «Analysis of the Use of VR/AR Technologies in Physical Culture and Sports» (Academic Supervisor: Lilia A. KUCHKOVA, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Physical Culture).
  • Alina V. TSOKUR, 3rd-year student of the Faculty of General Medicine, delivered the report «The Impact of Physical Activity on Reducing Stress Among Students During Examination Periods» (Academic Supervisor: Lilia A. KUCHKOVA, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Physical Culture).
The Department of Physical Culture, together with members of its student research society, takes part in this Conference annually. Participation provides valuable experience in public speaking and engaging in academic discussions in an online format.
Following the results of the conference, Alina TSOKUR won first place in the section «Psychological and Pedagogical Issues in Physical Culture and Sports». Congratulations to Alina and her academic supervisor on this achievement!
Natalia IVANOVA also participated in the National Student Essay Competition «Science. Preserving the Past, Shaping the Future» (Krasnodar, Kuban State University of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism). Her essay «Will VR
 
Technologies Be Able to Replace a Coach?» was awarded 3rd place in its section. Congratulations to Natalia and her supervisor on this accomplishment!
