Current Issues of Technosphere Safety at the Present Stage

On December 18, the 9th National Student Scientific Conference with International Participation "Current Issues of Technosphere Safety at the Present Stage" was held at the Voronezh State Medical University named after N.N. Burdenko and gathered together nearly thirty students, including those from neighboring countries.

Alexey LAMKOV, 6th-year student of the Faculty of General Medicine, got the 2nd-place diploma for his project on the physical rehabilitation of military personnel after combat injuries (scientific supervisor - Natalia V. SEMENOVA, MD, PhD (in Medicine), Assoc. Prof. of the Department of Extreme and Evidence Based Medicine). 3rd-place diplomas went to Amir ABDULLIN, 6th-year student of the Faculty of Pediatrics, who worked on modern treatment algorithms for carbon monoxide poisoning (scientific supervisor - Alexander L. VYSTAVNOY, PhD (in Biology), Assoc. Prof. of the Department of Extreme and Evidence Based Medicine), and Aidan AKBEROVA with her study on approaches to analyzing the clinical features of strychnine poisoning and medical care algorithms (scientific supervisor - Natalia V. SEMENOVA).

We congratulate the winners and their supervisors on their prizes in a highly competitive scientific environment at this major student event! We wish the Department of Extreme and Evidence Based Medicine and their students’ scientific society further success!
