National Scientific Conference «Emerging Technologies for Prevention and Complication Management in Traumatology and Orthopedics» dedicated to the memory of Prof. A. N. GORYACHEV, took place at Omsk Expo-Center on April 22-23.
More than 400 specialists from Omsk, Saint Petersburg, Nizhnevartovsk, Chelyabinsk, Kurgan, and other cities gathered to discuss burning issues of traumatology and orthopedics, including complications of endoprosthetic replacement of large limb joints, treatment of periarticular and intraarticular injuries of long bones, epimetaphyseal osteomyelitis and destructive arthritis, and medical rehabilitation in traumatology and orthopedics.

On the second day of the Conference, the participants heard reports on surgical treatment of vertebral pathology, the organization of vertebrological care in the Russian Regions.
