Expanded Board of the Office of Rospotrebnadzor for Omsk Oblast on the results of work for 2025

On February 26, the Omsk Regional Office of Rospotrebnadzor held an extended board meeting to discuss the results of the work in 2025 and set goals for 2026.

The event was attended by Alexey S. ROMAKHIN, the Deputy Chairperson of the Omsk Region Government, Olga N. BOGDANOVA, Deputy Minister of Health of the Omsk Region, Nikolay Yu. SERGEEV, Deputy Minister of Education of the Omsk Region, Yuri V. GERASIMENKO, Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights in the Omsk Region, Sergei V. NIKITIN, Chief Physician of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Omsk Region, Sergei V. SHTREK, Director of the Omsk Research Institute of Natural Focal Infections of Rospotrebnadzor, Heads of the Departmental Centers for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the Medical and Sanitary Unit №55 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, and Assoc. Prof. Oksana A. PASECHNIK, MD, Dr Sci (in Medicine), Dean of the OSMU Faculty of Preventive Medicine.

Sergei V. NIKITIN delivered the keynote address at the board meeting, presenting a comprehensive analysis of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology activities. During the board meeting, the results of national projects, product labeling monitoring, the 2025 summer health campaign, participation of the Center in training qualified personnel for the service, were reviewed.

In 2025, thanks to a range of organizational and sanitary-epidemiological measures, the Omsk region was able to ensure a stable sanitary-epidemiological situation and effectively protect consumer rights.

The board members highly praised the effective interagency cooperation between the Omsk Regional Office of Rospotrebnadzor and regional executive authorities and the results achieved through this collaboration.

In 2026, Omsk Regional Office of Rospotrebnadzor will continue to actively work across all areas, including collaboration on organizing practical training for doctors and sanitary-epidemiological service specialists.
