Alexander BURKOV, the Governor of Omsk Region, has visited OSMU Skills Center and evaluated its work under the conditions of COVID-19 spread. Here doctors upgrade their skills to manage infected patients. One of the main tasks is to teach health specialists to put on and take off their protective suits properly.
Alexander BURKOV highly appreciated the doctors’ qualification and the university’s contribution to the organization of safe work, “Irrespective of their specialty, all doctors should be ready to work in protective medical wear. The Skills Center makes it possible to do it in practice. Particularly, doctors perfect their skills to carry out artificial respiration using simulators.”
Irina SOLDATOVA, the Minister of Public Health in Omsk Region, comments, “OSMU is a huge help for the regional medicine. Its Skills Center is equipped with advanced devices and simulators, so doctors can acquire all essential knowledge and skills. Today we talk about lifelong medical education for a purpose. And every day we have to polish our professional skills, especially to fight against the coronavirus.”
