Dearest Medical Volunteers,
On behalf of the administration of our University and on my own behalf, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you for your help and assistance in health care in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic. This period of time is very difficult for all of us, you have been working on the front line every day for months, helping doctors in the Omsk Hospitals and Outpatient Clinics.
We are eternally grateful to each of you for helping Omsk citizens. I would like to express my special gratitude to the coordinators in the hospitals, who have organized the work in such a short time. I am convinced that these skills obtained in the extreme conditions are not a waste of time; they will serve you in your future professional life. Medical Volunteers are working in various areas, providing the consulting support to our population at the regional hotline, in Rospotrebnadzor, the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, the Ministry of Health of the Omsk Region, and in COVID-19 Emergency Center. Keeping in mind a priority of quality of education, digital volunteers help to organize the online education at our University. Volunteers are performing different tasks, but all of you are united by one goal; your friendly team and each of you individually are true heroes of today!
Our University will continue to support the volunteer movement, but there is a long time of intense work ahead, and we all need to find the strength and power to keep on fighting.
