On June 28, the honoring ceremony for the best graduates of Omsk Universities was held in the Regional Youth Center «Khimik», timed to coincide with Youth Day. The event was attended by students from eleven Universities, including OSMU, and Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the Omsk Region, Deputy Minister of Youth, Physical Education and Sports of the Omsk Region, Rectors of Omsk Universities, Heads of Youth Centers and Organizations.
The representatives of all Universities were awarded in six categories. OSMU students have been honored in the following categories: «For Academic and Professional Successes» (Alexandra-Sofia ERSKIN), «Leader of Student Self-government» (Ilya EKIMOV), «Young Scientist» (Arina TIMAKOVA), «Leader in Social Activities» (Ksenia LUGOVINA), «For Sports Achievements» (Nikita SEROV) and «For Creative Achievements» (Nazi SAMADASHVILI).
Prof. Maria A. LIVZAN, MD, PhD, OSMU Rector, has presented awards in the «Young Scientist» category. In her speech, she noted that all students have received an excellent professional education, many of them have graduated with honors, and such training will allow young specialists to meet the most demanding challenges in their careers.
