Victoria LUSHNIKOVA, a 4th-year student of the OSMU Faculty of Dentistry, took third place in the III Student Olympiad in Dentistry «Leader in Prevention», demonstrating a high level of professional training, strong theoretical knowledge, and well-developed clinical thinking.
Preparation for the Olympiad was carried out under the guidance of Irina L. GORBUNOVA, Prof. Asst. of the Department of Preventive Dentistry, DMD, Dr Sci (in Medicine), and Prof. Irina M. VOLOSHINA, DMD, Dr Sci (in Medicine), Department of Preventive Dentistry. The high professionalism of the mentors, their teaching expertise, and attentive support at every stage of preparation provided a solid foundation for the student’s successful performance.
Participation in professional Olympiads is an important element in the training of future specialists. Such events help students deepen their professional knowledge, improve practical skills, develop analytical thinking, and learn to make well-grounded clinical decisions. Participation in intellectual competitions also fosters responsibility, commitment, and motivation for professional growth and continuous improvement.
The achievements of OSMU students in competitions of this level clearly demonstrate the high quality of education provided by the university and the effective work of its academic teaching staff. The organizers congratulated Victoria LUSHNIKOVA and her mentors on their well-deserved result and wished them continued professional success, new academic achievements, the realization of their goals, and further development in their chosen specialty.
