International Educational and Scientific Cooperation with Karaganda Medical University

 

In the framework of cooperation agreement between OSMU and Karaganda Medical University (The Republic of Kazakhstan, Karaganda), on June 20-23, 2023, Dmitry B. AVDEEV, Prof. Asst. of Histology Department, was invited to Karaganda to conduct a master class «Digital technology skills in the educational and scientific process». Using such digital programs as Aperio ImageScope, ImageJ, E-Share PRO etc., he emphasized the ability of digital technology to help the teaching staff and make the learning material more accessible for understanding. After exchanging experience in the educational and scientific areas, colleagues from Karaganda Medical University gave Dmitry B. AVDEEV a tour around divisions, departments, laboratories, and museums of the University.

 

During the round tables with Yermek M. TURGUNOV, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Clinical Work, Viktor P. RIKLEFS, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and International Cooperation, Galina U. ZHANAYDAROVA, Prof. of the Morphology and Physiology Department, and other staff of the University, further international interdepartmental interaction, including grant programs and scientific publications, were discussed.

 

The administration of OSMU expresses its deep gratitude to Karaganda Medical University for productive work, strengthening and improving professional skills.
