On November 25-26, the OSMU Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology hosted an International Poster and Health Bulletin Contest dedicated to World AIDS Day, observed annually on December 1.
The event brought together over 200 students from OSMU and the Republic of Kazakhstan. Participants presented research posters exploring modern methods for diagnosing, treating, and preventing HIV infection, as well as the onset and progression of HIV-associated diseases and complications.
The health bulletin segment of the contest featured numerous vibrant and impactful projects, designed to raise public awareness about the critical social issue of HIV and AIDS.
