On May 22-23, the International Student Olympiad "From Biochemistry to Molecular Medicine" was held at the Bashkir State Medical University. This year, the Olympiad brought together 31 universities (12 of which participated remotely) and 125 students (50 remotely). Medical and classical universities from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan participated in the Event.
OSMU Department of Biochemistry was represented by 2-year students of General Medicine and Pediatrics Faculties: R.T. AUBAKIROV, K.Yu. GROKHOTOV, E.D. NIKIFOROVA and S.A. BUGAYENKO.
The Olympiad program included four competitions: creating and solving biochemistry case tasks, writing essays on current biochemistry topics, and a team creative competition "About Biochemistry with Love."
In the individual competition for solving case tasks, S.A. BUGAYENKO, took the "Best Theorist" category! Also, OSMU team took 3d place in the "About Biochemistry with Love" creative competition.
