On September 17-19, the Omsk Region hosted a major international event - the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Forum that united guests from Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and other countries. One of the main objectives of the Forum is to deepen international and interregional cooperation in trade, economic, investment, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The best students of Omsk universities and members of creative teams of our region were honored to represent their country.
Ahmad Aafsha Shakil (India) and Gul Laiba (Pakistan) were representatives of the OSMU. Both girls in national costumes and under the flags of their countries greeted the guests of the forum in their native language, which gave a special emotional tone and sincerity to the politically and economically significant event.
We express our gratitude to the organizers of the forum, its participants and especially our students for creating a bright, friendly atmosphere and warmth of international communication!
