On February 20, 2019 the Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference “Burning Issues of Diagnostics and Treatment of Digestive System Diseases” was held in Omsk. It was devoted to the treatment of diverticular disease, cytoprotection of gastrointestinal tract, and specific aspects of drug therapy in gastroenterology. Over 180 gastroenterologists, physicians, endoscopists, and more than 100 OSMU senior students were the members of the audience.
