Medical Volunteers Improve Their Professional Skills

 
 
From July 30 to August 1, the Interregional Certified First Aid Training for Medical Volunteers took place at the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University (Moscow). This event attracted volunteers from 31 regions, including OSMU students Daria PINKER and Vyacheslav VASKIN, members of the «First Aid Training and Events Assistance» Volunteer Team.

Participants had the opportunity to visit the Skills Center of the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, to take part in the Psychological First Aid master class by Anna ANDRONOVA, lead psychologist of the Center for Emergency Psychological Assistance of the EMERCOM of Russia, and also to participate in a flash mob dedicated to the «Medical Volunteers» 5th anniversary.
 
Besides, volunteers also improved their practical skills in the First Aid master classes and intensive courses. At the end of the training, participants had to take an exam on First Aid, and after passing the exam successfully, they received a certificate of professional development confirming the completion of the First Aid Instructor course.
 
On behalf of participants from OSMU, Daria PINKER expressed the deepest gratitude to the administration of OSMU, organizers and instructors of the Interregional Certified First Aid Training for the opportunity to attend this event, gain knowledge and invaluable contribution to their development. She also mentioned the desire to participate in training courses and forums for further development of the «First Aid Training and Events Assistance» Volunteer Team.
