The regional social project "Breath of Life" supported by the Ministry of Sport of Omsk Region has been launched in our Region. The project is aimed at educating the population about therapeutic breathing exercises for pulmonary rehabilitation and prevention of lung diseases.
“As soon as we knew that such an important project was launched in our region, we decided to join it”, - says a regional coordinator of the Medical Volunteers, Ilya EKIMOV. “This week our volunteers have started working for this project; they are distributing the booklets in Omsk Hospitals and Outpatient Clinics containing the information about the most effective therapeutic breathing exercises that are beneficial not only for patients with acute and chronic lung diseases but for healthy people in order to prevent respiratory disorders.”
