Despite the New Year festivities and exams OSMU Medical Volunteers keep on helping Regional Healthcare in all ways. 58 volunteers have been working in the COVID-19 Call Center. More than 250 Medical Volunteers provide their help to Omsk and Omsk Regions’ Hospitals: performing the routing of patients, assisting at the reception desks and servicing during the patients’ appointments. They are also in demand in Rospotrebnadzor and Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology (more than 30 volunteers) and the Ministry of Public Health of Omsk Region (9 volunteers).
The work plan for Medical Volunteers in a spring term will be elaborated taking into consideration the decision of OSMU authorities concerning a mode of education (offline, online or hybrid) and the epidemiological situation in Omsk Region.
