In the framework of the «School of safe rehabilitation» Project, training of medical volunteers has started. It is sponsored by the Ministry of Regional Policy and Mass Communications of the Omsk Region together with the Presidential Grants Fund.
This social project was created to train volunteers to support older people who were infected with COVID-19. After the training, which partly was held in the OSMU Skills Center, Medical Volunteers will supervise the rehabilitation of the older generation. Within the framework of rehabilitation patronage, it is also planned to issue special guidelines explaining the basics of recovery and respiratory gymnastics.
