Rector of OSMU, Prof. Maria A. LIVZAN took part in the meeting of COVID-19 Emergency Center, where the issues in respect to the participation of OSMU students and residents in volunteer activities, including the work in hospitals and on a coronavirus hotline were discussed. As a result of the discussion, the Decree draft of the Governor was prepared.
The Governor recommended considering the implementation of an e-learning mode from October 15, 2020, and recruiting medical students and residents for the work at Omsk Hospitals as a part of clerkship aimed at prevention of the spread of coronavirus infection. However, such decision should be approved by the Ministry of Public Health of the Russian Federation and only then University will be able to implement all activities.
