National Patient Support Campaign is timed to the World Day of the Sick. The Day was instituted on May 13, 1992 by Pope John Paul II, and now the World Day of the Sick celebrated annually on February 11 to draw attention to the problems of sick people and to show that there is a lack of compassion, sympathy, and mercy in modern society. Because moral support, attention, and sympathy are the most important things for the sufferers.
Medical Volunteers of OSMU together with the elementary school pupils, School №77, took part in the National Patient Support Campaign. They presented the gifts and hand-made get-well cards to the patients of Omsk Children’s Hospitals.
We each are able to help any sick person by showing concern and sharing real emotional warmth.
Take care and stay healthy!
