On March 27, 2019 the Scientific and Practical Conference “Important Issues of Obstetrics and Gynecology” took place in Omsk Exhibition Center.
The Conference was attended by obstetricians-gynecologists from city and regional hospitals, anaesthetists, neonatologists, and general practitioners from Omsk, Novosibirsk, Ryazan, and Moscow. Olga BOGDANOVA, Deputy Minister of Public Health in Omsk Region, made the opening speech and spoke about the results of obstetrics service in Omsk Region in 2018 Lidia LOGUTOVA, a visiting Professor from Moscow, made the report on pregnancy and uterine myoma.
OSMU Professor Elena KRAVCHENKO, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, told about diagnostics of vaginal infections. According to the specialist, the main problem is in the following: doctors not in every instance use all essential diagnostic techniques.
All in all, twenty reports were made during the Conference. The participants of the meeting emphasized the practicability of such events and the chance to exchange their best practices.
