On May 20-21, the First Siberian Scientific Conference on Plastic Surgery, Bariatrics, and Cosmetology «Omsk Beauty - 2023» took place at the Regional Congress Hall «Continent». The event was organized by the «Status ReAge» Aesthetic Medicine Clinic with the support of the Omsk Regional Administration, Omsk State Medical University, and the National Society of Bariatric Surgeons.
The Conference was divided into sections and took place in three conference halls at once. The program included a report section and online broadcasts of surgeries and cosmetic procedures.

Today we have to discuss the latest developments in cosmetology, bariatrics, and plastic surgery, which help people gain self-confidence. Together with our guests, we can share experiences and the latest scientific discoveries. The evidence-based approach in aesthetic medicine will improve the outcomes of the procedures. During the first day of the Conference, Prof. Assoc. Inna V. DRUK, MD, PhD, Head of the Department of Internal Medicine and Family Medicine (Postgraduate Course), presented her report entitled «Indications for 1st-degree obesity surgery: red flags and pitfalls» in the «Bariatric Surgery» section.
In the «Cosmetology» section, Elena V. RADUL, MD, PhD, Prof. Assoc. of the Department of Dermatovenerology and Cosmetology, dermatologist, cosmetologist, presented her report entitled «Fibroblast as a component of connective tissue. Synergism of PLINEST technique with hardware and collagen stimulating techniques». She noted that aging begins at age 25 and has recently been regarded as a chronic inflammation, which is a consequence of DNA damage. To restore DNA we need polynucleotides, which was the subject of the report.
On the second day of the Conference, OSMU was represented by Olga V. PRAVDINA, MD, PhD, Prof. Assoc. of the Department of Dermatovenerology and Cosmetology, with her report on cicatricial skin deformities, Elena V. RADUL with her report on the issues of hair loss and Inna V. DRUK with a report entitled «Age-related endocrinology».
